What modes of transport are available for medical transfers between Mainland China and Hong Kong?
Depending on medical necessity, we can arrange various modes of transport, including medical jets, civil aviation flights, high-speed rail, or ground ambulances. For patients with milder conditions, cross-border wheelchair-accessible vehicles are also available.
Can critically ill patients be transferred?
Yes. We are equipped with ICU-grade medical teams and advanced medical equipment. Following a professional assessment by our medical team, safe transport can be arranged even for patients in critical condition.
Where are the medical personnel dispatched from?
Throughout the entire operation, medical personnel are assigned by our company and followed up by local medical teams. Our company is responsible for monitoring and coordination. We work closely with medical teams in various regions to ensure service quality; if necessary, we can also dispatch a Hong Kong-based medical team to accompany the patient throughout the journey.
How are the fees calculated?
Fees are determined based on the patient’s condition, location, and the timing of the transfer.
What is the booking process?
Generally, once we receive an inquiry, we first collect medical information or reports for assessment by our clinical team. We then develop the most suitable transport plan for the patient. Once the plan and fees are confirmed, the team will proceed with the mission immediately.
How many people can accompany the patient?
Using ground ambulance transport as an example, we generally allow one to two family members to accompany the patient.
Can I cancel or reschedule?
Under normal circumstances, if a cancellation or rescheduling is required, a portion of the fee will be deducted based on the timing of the change, and the remainder will be refunded. If the cancellation or rescheduling is due to objective external factors, a full refund can be issued after deducting an administrative fee.
Is there a contingency plan for emergencies during transit?
Yes. We closely monitor the entire operation and maintain constant communication with front-line staff. We also have a series of contingency protocols in place to provide emergency support for various scenarios.
